These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of socialhrcamp.com (the "Website") and your participation in SocialHRCamp events, community programs, and communications. The Website and SocialHRCamp are operated by ScaleHR Inc. ("ScaleHR," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Website or registering for a SocialHRCamp event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or register for an event.
By using the Website, submitting a form, or registering for an event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
SocialHRCamp is a global community and event series for HR and Talent professionals, organized by ScaleHR. The Website provides information about SocialHRCamp events, cities, speakers, sponsors, and community resources. Event ticketing and registration are handled through third-party platforms, currently Eventbrite and 3Common, and are also subject to those platforms' own terms.
The Website and SocialHRCamp events are intended for business professionals aged 18 and older. By using the Website or registering for an event, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may access and use the Website for lawful, personal, and business-related purposes connected to SocialHRCamp. You agree not to: (a) scrape, copy, or systematically extract content from the Website without our written permission; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website or its underlying systems; (c) use the Website to transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content; or (d) misrepresent your affiliation with ScaleHR, SocialHRCamp, or any sponsor.
The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, the SocialHRCamp name and branding, are owned by or licensed to ScaleHR and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share Website content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but may not reproduce, modify, or distribute it for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Registration for SocialHRCamp events is processed through Eventbrite or 3Common, depending on the event and region. By registering, you also agree to the applicable ticketing platform's terms and any event-specific terms and conditions published on the event page, including any refund, cancellation, code-of-conduct, or photo/video-consent terms referenced there. ScaleHR reserves the right to change event dates, locations, speakers, or format, or to cancel an event, and will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants of material changes.
Attendees, speakers, sponsors, and organizers are expected to treat one another with respect. ScaleHR reserves the right to remove any individual from an event, without refund, for conduct it reasonably considers disruptive, unlawful, or harmful to other attendees.
The Website relies on third-party service providers, including Webflow (hosting), Eventbrite and 3Common (ticketing), HighLevel (email/CRM), and Vimeo (video), and may link to third-party websites such as sponsor or community sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms.
The Website and SocialHRCamp events are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScaleHR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Website or attendance at a SocialHRCamp event, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold ScaleHR harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Website or a SocialHRCamp event.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence, including the EU/EEA/UK, Israel, Quebec, or your U.S. state.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Website or registration for an event after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
